Old Quarter - West Lake - Pottery Village - Ho Chi Minh Complex

See another side to Hanoi with a half-day cycling trip that takes you away from the busy chaos of Hanoi’s city centre and into the nearby countryside. Observe local life as you cycle through villages and along the banks of the Red River.  Take a rest stop at a pottery village and flower gardens before cycling aroundWest Lake. Sip a cup of coffee and admire the lakeside views before pedaling back into the city past  the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

After a quick safety briefing by your guide, its time to hop on your bikes and cycle away from Hanoi’s busy Old Quarter into the surrounding countryside. Watch locals going about their daily lives as you pedal along the Red River. Visit a pottery village where you will see ceramic pots stacked high and past floating houses to commercial flower gardens to see the colourful and fragrant blooms.  Then it is on to West Lake, Hanoi’s biggest lake for a coffee in one of the lakeside cafe’s, before past the famous Ho Chi Minh Complex and back to your starting point.

Please be aware that the One Pillar Pagoda in Hanoi is closed for renovation work until January 2015. Day tours will now visit Ho Chi Minh’s Museum as an alternative touring attraction.
