Langbian mountain - Tuyen Lam lake - Elephant mountain
TOUR SUMMARY :
Go deep into the jungles of Dalat on a two-day trek, traversing mountain ranges and spotting wild gibbons in the forest. Camp overnight at Tuyen Lam Lakeand see ethnic minority villages along the way.
FULL ITINERARY:
Day 1:
Start your trek from Razorback Trailhead with fantastic views of Dalat and Langbian Mountain in the distance. Walk up to the ridge line through sections of broad-leaf evergreens and stop for picnic lunch and a rest. Then descend the ridge along jungle paths to emerge into a small clearing of pine forest by Tuyen Lam Lake, which is the camp for the night. Rest you tired legs or take a refreshing swim in the lake.
Day 2:
Head out of the pine forest and walk deep into the jungle for more trekking. Keep you eye out for wild orchids in bloom or if you are lucky wild gibbons. As the jungle starts to thin out towards the valley of Elephant Mountain, you will see ethinic minority farms that dotted on the landscape below. Continue walking to Chicken Village arriving mid afternoon, where you will be transfered back to Dalat.
