Tour Itinerary in Detail
Day 1: Welcome to Hanoi Vietnam (D)
At right time your arrival, we will pick you up and transfer to the hotel, check in and free time at leisure on your own of exploration the city, then enjoy welcome dinner in local authentic Hanoi food restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour – Full Day with Most Tourist Attraction (B,L,D)
At 8.00 AM, our city tour including visit Ho Chi Minh President Complex (Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the house on stilts, presidential palace and One Pillar Pagoda).Visiting this site, you will understand more about the life of President Ho, a great leader, Hero of national liberation and a great man of world culture.
Our next stop is the Temple of literature, which is built in 1070 dedicated to Confucius then in 1076 was widen then known as the first university of Vietnam. Continue your tour to visit the fine art museum where different kinds of paintings of famous artists are on display, before having lunch at one of the best local restaurants with special of Hanoi cuisine.
After that heading to Museum of Ethnology, which exhibits the traditional culture of 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam, Next activities, take one hour of cycling trip for sightseeing Hanoi old quarters. Taking this mean of transportation is the best way to have a close look at the 36 streets in Hanoi and to your hotel.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Halong Deluxe Cruises (B, L, D)
At 7.30 in the morning, Leave Hanoi for Halong Bay stunning seascape and kart geomorphology, is one of the Vietnam’s most spectacular natural tourist sights.
On Arrival, get on sailing junk with welcome juice. While cruising through the exquisite waters and floating fishing village, enjoy your lunch with sample the regions fresh seafood. Visit Surprise Grotto (one of the biggest cave in Halong Bay) with its great views, and on the next island see the yawning mouth of Bo Nau Cave.
Alternatively journey to Dau Go Cave (was using in 13th century for Mongolian war) and nearby see the famous stalagmites and stalactites of Thien Cung Cave (recently discovered in 1995) (this depend on what cruise you want to book because there are a lot of cruises in Halong Bay).
Enjoy a swim in the emerald waters of Halong Bay at Ti Top beach. Watch the sunset over the bay whilst enjoying a delicious dinner. Overnight on board junk
Day 4: Halong Deluxe Cruise – Halong harbor – Hanoi (B, L, D)
Wake up to fresh coffee and a wholesome breakfast before cruising back to Halong City. En route, the junk weaves through strange-shaped rock formations that invite comparisons from fighting cocks to dragons and even General de Gaulle’s nose!
After another wonderful fresh seafood lunch on board disembark at the dock at Halong City. Transfer back to Hanoi by road and transfer to hotel
Day 5: Hanoi – Perfume Pagoda (B, L, D)
At 8.00 AM, we pick you up at your Hotel. And depart for Perfume pagoda its marvelous beauty owns the natural for eco-tourism boat trip also trekking path to admire the pagoda inside the cave – once center of Buddhism center and named as the most beautiful cave in the northern part of Vietnam
The journey takes two and half hours, along the way see daily life of Vietnamese in the village to Yen Stream or Duc warf, you will join our sampan trip for one and half hour for sightseeing beautiful landscapes of rice fields and the elephant mountain, along the way stop at the Taoist temple of Den Trinh (pagoda of representation).
Continue our journey further down the river and arrive at the foot of Huong tich mountain (mountain of the fragrant traces), from where the sampan drops you. A stone flagged path takes you to Thien Tru (pagoda leading to the heaven), built in 17th century and dedicated to the god of mercy – Quan Am.
Next will be a longer trekking ( if you don’t want to trek we can do cable car one way up then trek down) to Huong Tich pagoda, the pagoda Huong Tich is one of the most important to the Mahayana Buddhists of Vietnam and was built in a big cave, when you reach to the top of this mountain, you will be rewarded with the fine view.
Lunch is served at a local restaurant. On the same way back by sampan trip, then we take the van back Hanoi (if time permitted we will stop at Van Phuc silk handicraft or Phu Xuyen leather shoes village ).
Day 6: Hanoi – Mai Chau Mountainous Valley (B, L, D)
At 8.30 in the morning, leave Hanoi, Heading west to Hoa Binh town where famous with the biggest hydropower plan. On the way to Mai Chau valley, we will stop for coffee and great view of mountainous area for nice photos
Lunch will be served at home stay (shared with other visitor because home stay in Vietnam that is not bed and breakfast) in Poong Coong village, after that start our hiking tour to visit the surrounding villages of Thai people such as Lac, Nhot villages.
Tonight after dinner, we join with music and dancing show of the village band. You will also be entertained with their home made rice wine. Stay overnight in Mai Chau
Day 7: Mai Chau – Ba Khan – Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast and check out the hotel, next we will drive to the north for 25km to Ba Khan BaKhan with its primitive beauty gives us the great view of green mighty river and mountain trail. This flat area locating as peaceful snail formation, it owns the picturesque beauty with cloud, sky, and magical stone formation for having shower under the waterfall and contact with local minorities in swampland valley
(if you want to kayak here pls inform us in advance to organize the time) then, driver picks you up and continue our trip onwards Hoa Binh town for lunch. From here, we go straight to Hanoi. Arrive your hotel in Hanoi mid- after noon
Day 8: Hanoi Departure (B)
Free at leisure until our driver will come to pick up you to transfer back the airport for flight onwards. Ending your unique Hanoi Private Tour 8 days and say good bye Vietnam – Tam Biet at airport
