From the past, North West Vietnam was known as minorities’s heroic spirit during the struggles against colonists, imperialist, now contribute to national renewal, specially, their typical traditional habit and, brocades, jewelry, colorful clothes highly impressive for tourist besides of its breathtaking beauty.

Black Hmong in Sapa Besides of Thai, H’mong ethnic people and others can make people keep it in mind when they driving on the mountain trail of North West area. There are five kind of H’mong which depends on their clothes Black, Blue, Red, White, and Flower, black H’mong’s clothes made from hemp and dying from indigo, their hand turn into blue color from that, hand using all the time during the day for cracking hemp into small pieces for weaving clothes.
A lot of people say that their traditional habit showering 5 times per year, one season one time then one more time for Tet holiday but with tourist area as Sapa no more for that. But their deep typical culture is still remains as kidnapping girl for becoming wife – this event occur on Tet holiday, when boy want to kidnap beautiful girl they will ask their friends and take girl to worship their god house then girl will become their wife as in Moc Chau, Son La, their location almost at the high of 1400m above sea level.
